The TL;DR

• Pay: $16.8–$23.1 hourly
• Mission: This intern will provide essential first-level IT support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and manage user setups to ensure smooth operations for Bio-Techne’s internal teams and researchers.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide first-level support for all end-user hardware and software issues, including application setup and troubleshooting of internal applications.
• Troubleshoot: Handle moderately complex troubleshooting duties for IT systems and day-to-day operational support.
• Maintain: Troubleshoot PC hardware problems and perform basic PC hardware maintenance when needed.
• Onboard: Conduct IT classes for new hires and manage the setup of users onto various network-based systems.
• Collaborate: Manage day-to-day support of assigned infrastructure solutions and implement configuration changes recommended by IT Systems Engineers.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to the internship, having completed at minimum the sophomore year of college.
• Experience: Must be able to work full-time during the duration of the internship program.
• Skills: Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written), ability to coordinate projects across multiple departments, capacity to independently research and troubleshoot to achieve objectives, and an ability to leverage emerging technologies, including AI and other digital tools.
