Job Description: IT Intern
Harsco Rail is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Intern to join their team in West Columbia, SC. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system (LN) and contribute to critical IT initiatives. The intern will play a key role in the LN documentation project and assist with various aspects of project management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the comprehensive documentation of the LN system, including processes, configurations, and user guides.
• Contribute to small projects related to LN upgrades, including testing, data validation, and user support.
• Design and deliver documentation for LN Upgrade end users.
• Provide administrative support to the Project Manager, including scheduling, note-taking, organizing project documentation, and tracking deliverables.
• Collaborate with IT team members and various departments to gather necessary information for documentation and project tasks.
• Learn and apply best practices in IT documentation and project management.
• Work with Organizational Change Manager to define and mitigate issues prior to LN project upgrade goes live.
