IT Internship at ADT
Areas of Focus:
• Infrastructure Support: Maintain servers, end-user devices, and networks.
• Cybersecurity: Assess risks, mitigate threats, and ensure the security of ADT’s digital landscape.
• Project Management: Facilitate the delivery of key technology initiatives by tracking progress, managing timelines, and ensuring objectives are met.
• Quality Assurance (QA) & Testing: Ensure software and systems meet quality standards before they are deployed.
• Workstation Support: Manage IT and AV operations for large-scale events, provide technical support to ADT personnel including Executive Leadership Team (ELT) members, and troubleshoot IT issues.
What You Need to Be Successful:
• Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with IT systems, networking, and infrastructure management. Understanding of cybersecurity principles and risk management.
• Soft Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently to meet deadlines. A proactive, problem-solving attitude that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What Will Set You Apart:
• Active involvement in a technology-focused student club or organization.
• Prior internship or work experience.
Additional Details:
• Compensation: $22/hour for undergraduates, $25/hour for those with a Bachelor’s degree and enrolled in a graduate program.
• Work Schedule: 40-hour workweek, on-site Monday to Wednesday, remote on Thursdays and Fridays (if no team meetings or events).
• Housing and Relocation: Not offered for internship roles.
• Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required, as sponsorship is not offered.
• Availability: Must be available for the entire duration of the internship program (May 19th – July 31st, 2025).
