This is a temporary IT Intern position within the KH Information Technology Applications Department at Kaleida Health.
• Job Title: IT Intern
• Work Type: Temporary
• Location: Onsite at Larkin Bldg @ Exchange Street, Buffalo, NY (US:NY:Buffalo)
• Shift: Shift 1, with scheduled work hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Primary Responsibilities:
As an IT Intern, you will work closely with the IT implementation team to provide support for the Epic (EMR) implementation. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in the field of healthcare IT.
Education and Credentials Required:
• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be a current college student actively pursuing a degree in a relevant field. Examples include, but are not limited to, Health Informatics, Information Technology (IT), or other related disciplines.
Experience Required:
• Must possess a working knowledge of computer skills.
• Proficiency with common software tools and platforms is essential.
• Must be capable of working independently and effectively managing tasks with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates professionalism, which includes strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Working Conditions and Compensation:
• Standard Hours Bi-Weekly: 75.00 hours.
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Yes.
• On Call Required: No.
• With Rotation: No.
• Work Arrangement: Onsite.
• Union Code: N00 – Non Union KH.
• Pay Frequency: Bi-Weekly.
• Salary Range: $15.00 – $20.63 per hour. The specific wage offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
