This is a temporary IT Intern position located at the Larkin Bldg @ Exchange Street in Buffalo, NY. The role involves working on-site as part of Shift 1, with scheduled work hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The standard bi-weekly hours are 75.00.

As an IT Intern, you will be an integral part of the KH Information Technology Applications Department. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with the IT implementation team to support the Epic (EMR) implementation, gaining hands-on experience in healthcare IT.

Required Qualifications:

Education: A High School Diploma or GED is required. Applicants must be current college students actively pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Health Informatics, IT, or other related disciplines.
Experience & Skills: Candidates must possess a working knowledge of computer skills, including proficiency with common software tools and platforms. The ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision is essential. Furthermore, applicants must demonstrate professionalism, including strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Working Conditions & Compensation:

• The position requires availability for weekend and holiday work.
• It is a non-union role (N00 – Non Union KH).
• The salary range is $15.00 – $20.63 per hour, with the final wage determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreements.
• Payment is on a bi-weekly basis.
