Job Description

This role is for an IT Automation Intern at Panasonic North America. The intern will be embedded within a core division team, providing support for daily activities and offering technical assistance in data aggregation, reporting, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

Automation Support:
• Collaborate with leadership and team members to automate manual tasks.
• Create and update automation scripts and frameworks.
• Provide support to other automation professionals.
• Learn basic intelligent automation tasks using UiPath.
• Perform UiPath software maintenance on production servers, including checking for and installing updates while adhering to the IT change management process.
Documentation & Maintenance:
• Conduct annual/biannual audits of user lists.
• Maintain a comprehensive list of bots, scheduled run-times, and owners.
• Maintain Server Requirements documentation.
• Maintain the price list for automation processes.
• Maintain documents detailing changes to policies, user guides, SOPs, and FAQs.
ServiceNow & Project Management:
• Create requests within the ServiceNow system for production publishing (e.g., UiPath system access, shared drive access).
• Maintain demands, projects, tasks, and templates in the ServiceNow system.
• Maintain the opportunity list.
• Review RPA (Robotic Process Automation) demands and projects, escalating any past-due items.
• Review tasks and support tickets assigned to the RPA team, proactively seeking status updates if no activity is observed within one week.
Collaboration & IT Projects:
• Assist in the development and implementation of various IT projects.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement innovative solutions.
• Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to project discussions.
Content Management & Microsoft Technologies:
• Migrate old files from IBM Blueworks to Microsoft Teams.
• Organize and manage Microsoft Teams sites to ensure logical structure and consistent file naming conventions (e.g., PDD, SDD).
• Assist with Brainstorm software learning platform content management.
• Help with Microsoft Viva Engage content and announcements.
• Maintain content across Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
• Review new features in Microsoft Teams Public Preview & Targeted Release for relevant content.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic knowledge of intelligent automation tools.
• Basic understanding of IT principles and practices.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with all levels of business unit and PNA IT Management.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and ServiceNow is considered a plus.
