Job Title: IT Automation Intern
Job Summary:
As an IT Automation Intern at Panasonic North America, a technology company committed to making a positive impact, you will be embedded within a core division team. Your primary role will be to support daily activities and provide technical assistance for data aggregation, reporting, and automation initiatives. You will collaborate with various teams to help streamline processes and contribute to the development and implementation of innovative IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support daily activities and provide technical assistance for data aggregation, reporting, and automation within a core division team.
• Collaborate with leadership and other team members to automate current manual tasks.
• Create and update automation scripts and frameworks.
• Provide support to other automation professionals as needed.
• Conduct annual/biannual audits of user lists.
• Maintain an organized list of bots, their scheduled run-times, and owners.
• Create requests in the ServiceNow system for production publishing, including UIPath system access and shared drive access.
• Maintain Server Requirements documentation.
• Maintain the price list for automation processes.
• Maintain documents for changes to policies, user guides, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions), etc.
• Review RPA (Robotic Process Automation) demands and projects, escalating any past-due items.
• Review tasks and support tickets assigned to the RPA team, seeking status updates if no activity is observed within one week.
• Maintain demands, projects, tasks, and templates within the ServiceNow system.
• Maintain the opportunity list.
• Perform UiPath software maintenance on production servers, which includes checking for and installing updates while adhering to the IT change management process.
• Migrate old files from IBM Blueworks to Microsoft Teams.
• Organize and manage Microsoft Teams sites to maintain logic and adhere to file naming conventions (e.g., PDD – Process Design Document, SDD – Solution Design Document).
• Learn basic intelligent automation tasks in UIPath.
• Assist in the development and implementation of IT projects.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement innovative solutions.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions.
• Assist with Brainstorm software learning platform content management.
• Help with Microsoft Viva Engage content and announcements.
• Maintain content in Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
• Review “what’s new” in Microsoft Teams Public Preview & Targeted Release for relevant content.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic knowledge of intelligent automation tools.
• Basic understanding of IT principles and practices.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally with all levels of business unit and PNA IT Management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Preferred:
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow.
