Ryder (via Lensa) is seeking professionals for their Audit Services department. Ryder Audit Services is a high-performing team that provides internal audit services and support to business leaders across the organization. They conduct both audit and advisory activities aimed at adding value and driving continuous improvement in Ryder’s business and IT processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory obligations.
Job Title: IT Audit Intern
Summary:
Ryder Audit Services is looking for IT Audit Interns to assist with a variety of IT audit projects. The intern may work on SOX or other compliance audits, IT process audits, vendor audits, and IT general control audits, among others. Interns are assigned to audits based on the resource needs at the time of the internship. This is a remote, part-time (20 hours per week) internship.
Responsibilities:
• Learn the fundamentals of IT auditing and business operations through formal and on-the-job training.
• Participate in SOX or other compliance, IT process, vendor, and IT general controls audit assignments.
• Perform IT audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing/analyzing evidence, and documenting auditee processes and procedures.
• Prepare working papers, conduct interviews, review documents, and compose summary memos.
• Identify, develop, and document issues and recommendations using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed.
• Communicate or assist in communicating the results of projects via written reports and oral presentations to management.
Qualifications:
• Must be at least an incoming Junior pursuing a BA/BS in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, with coursework in accounting, auditing, economics, data analytics, computer programming, or other financial or IT-centric curriculum.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

• Strives to gain knowledge of the company and business operations.
• Demonstrates personal accountability and urgency in completing assignments and achieving results.
Compensation:
• Hourly: $21.00
