Detailed Job Description:
The iOS Engineer will be a key contributor to the Ring application team. The position requires a strong technical foundation, project management skills, and the ability to develop solutions independently. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in ambiguous situations and possess both strategic and tactical thinking capabilities. Innovation, effective leadership and communication, and teamwork are crucial. The role necessitates adeptness in navigating cross-functional efforts across modern mobile technologies, while delivering highly scalable and user-friendly solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and build applications for the iOS platform, prioritizing performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional agile team to develop and launch new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Basic Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in Apple platform development.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience (excluding internships).
• 3+ years of experience in the design or architecture of new and existing systems (including design patterns, reliability, and scalability).
• Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle (SDLC), encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Compensation:
The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year to $223,600/year, depending on location. Additional compensation may include equity, sign-on payments, and other benefits, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
