Investor Relations Intern

About The Role

The Investor Relations Intern will be an integral part of the Investor Relations area within the Finance department at Equitable Holdings (EQH). This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to additional functions through group research projects and networking with peers in the program. The Investor Relations department plays a crucial role in communicating with investors, providing them with relevant information about Equitable’s affairs to assist them in making informed buy and sell decisions. Additionally, the team is responsible for monitoring peer companies’ earnings and market statuses.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordination and preparation of various management presentations, including monthly and quarterly reviews with the executive management team, internal and external board meetings, and other key meetings and conferences.
  • Opportunity to deliver clear, cohesive, and compelling presentations to leadership teams both within and outside of Finance.
  • Assist in project management and planning of key events and priorities.
  • Perform financial analysis, strategic business analysis, and detailed industry research.
  • Contribute actively to team discussions and client meetings.
  • Assist in the execution of process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in the promotion of team engagement and collaboration.

Internship Details

  • Dates: Nine-week program starting in early June 2026.
  • Hourly Rate: $22/hour.
  • Location: New York, NY.
  • Work Environment: This position offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring an on-site presence of 3-4 days per week, combining flexibility with essential team collaboration.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Rising senior or rising junior working towards a four-year undergraduate degree, preferably within Finance, Economics, and/or Business.
  • 1+ year experience with Microsoft Office products.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience with financial/quantitative data analysis.
  • Ability to formulate clear and concise executive “messages” for internal and external audiences from complex topics.
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, solve problems, and think strategically/critically.
  • Pro-active approach, comfort level with working in an often-ambiguous environment, anticipating needs, and staying ahead of them.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of comfort/ease to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Organized with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Uncompromising integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
