Early Career Intern – Investor Engagement | Invesco

The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at Invesco, located in one of Invesco’s offices. Invesco is one of the world’s leading independent global investment firms, dedicated to delivering distinctive investment management capabilities and a wide range of investment strategies to clients globally. This role offers driven students the opportunity to dive into the investment world, learn from industry professionals, and gain hands-on experience, potentially leading to a full-time offer in Invesco’s Early Career Program.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams on assigned tasks and initiatives.
• Present: Attend team meetings, complete assigned projects, and present findings to management within established timelines.
• Prepare: Create presentations, summaries, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop: Seek feedback and guidance from mentors and team members to support learning and growth, participating in training sessions and networking opportunities.
• Innovate: Champion and utilize AI technologies in daily work, leveraging existing platforms to streamline manual processes, enhance analysis, and support team execution, while also communicating best practices for AI incorporation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, aiming to graduate by summer of 2028. All majors are welcomed, with an emphasis on Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Stats, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or Business-related fields. Demonstrated interest in investments.
• Experience: Must be able to work in one of Invesco’s offices where the program is available. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. Experience with creative problem solving and analytical thinking, along with prioritizing work and meeting deadlines.
• Skills: Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale. Intermediate proficiency with Python, SQL, Power BI, Bloomberg Terminal, R Studio, or Excel. Experience using Generative AI tools such as Microsoft Studio and CoWork.
• Bonus: Prior internship in AI or investment management. Experience gathering and interpreting market data.
