Investment Management Summer Analyst Program – Sales (Boston)
This 10-week program offers a unique blend of training and practical experience. It starts with a week of intensive training designed to equip Summer Analysts with the fundamental skills needed to excel in the Investment Management field. The remaining nine weeks involve working within a specific IM team, gaining hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of the industry.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the IM landscape: Explore the wide array of products and services available to MSIM clients.
• Receive hands-on training: Work alongside seasoned professionals on impactful projects, benefiting from their expertise.
• Update and maintain CRM data: Ensure accurate information within the client relationship management system.
• Engage in regular product training: Stay updated on MSIM/Eaton Vance products and services, and the broader financial industry.
• Conduct industry and firm trend research: Identify potential sales opportunities and present findings to Senior Management.
• Assist with conference planning and delivery: Contribute to successful conferences by managing materials and logistics.
• Pursue a career path in Sales/Distribution: This program provides a strong foundation for future roles within MSIM.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, graduating between December 2025 and June 2026.
• A strong academic record demonstrating intellectual capability.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration and presentations.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues across various departments.
• Self-motivation and initiative, capable of working independently and taking ownership of tasks.
• A driven and results-oriented mindset, with a strong desire to contribute and achieve goals.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, adept at prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• A problem-solving mentality with a keen eye for detail.

Compensation:
The expected base pay rate for this role is $31.25 per hour upon commencement of employment.
