Capital One Investment Banking Internship Analyst:
This is a full-time, paid internship program spanning ten weeks from June to August 2025 focused on preparing undergraduates for a career in investment banking. The program offers potential placement into a full-time role within one of the following Capital Markets lines of business: Derivatives, Financing, M&A, KippsDeSanto, or TripleTree.
Over the 10 weeks, interns will:
• Gain insight into best investment banking practices.
• Participate in networking opportunities.
• Receive mentorship from senior leaders.
• Gain exposure to executives across the firm.
• Develop valuable on-the-job skills and experience through:
• On-the-job training.
• Detailed market analysis.
• Financial modeling exercises.
• Preparation of client engagement materials.
Interns will be placed on a team based on their prior experience, industry knowledge, and investment banking interests.
They will work collaboratively on client deliverables and strategic initiatives, including:
• Developing an in-depth understanding of Investment Banking products and services.
• Organizing and creating client marketing presentations, memoranda, and deliverables.
• Conducting industry and market research and analysis.
• Assisting in the preparation of financial models and business valuations.
Summer Analysts will be evaluated for a full-time position within the broader Capital Markets team with potential start dates in the year following the completion of the internship.
