Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program
This program provides internships for undergraduate and graduate students. Summer Analysts receive extensive training and on-the-job experience about the life of an Investment Banking Analyst. They make meaningful contributions to the Stephens team.
In this generalist program, Summer Analysts:
• Work on pitches and live deals with analysts and bankers at all seniority levels.
• Assist in developing detailed financial analysis for various types of transactions.
• Assist in developing and composing presentation materials, including pitch books, Confidential Information Memorandums, and marketing materials.
• Assist in conducting quantitative and qualitative industry research and analysis.
• Perform other operational and administrative tasks as needed.
Strong performing Summer Analysts may have the opportunity to become full-time employees with Stephens upon graduation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Summer Analysts have a broad array of responsibilities executed alongside veteran bankers and senior management teams of clients. These tasks include:
• Financial Analysis: Assisting in the development of detailed financial analysis for various types of transactions.
• Presentation Development: Assisting in the development and composition of presentation materials including: tailored pitch books, Confidential Information Memorandums, and other marketing materials.
• Industry Research: Assisting in conducting quantitative and qualitative industry research and analysis.
• Operational & Administrative Tasks: Performing other operational and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
• Education: Undergraduate coursework in Finance or Accounting preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to determine the appropriate action.
