The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Citi, located in CA-ONE MARKET PLAZA. Citi is a global financial institution focused on institutional banking, assisting clients in raising funds in the capital markets, and providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions. This Investment Banking Senior Analyst position is an intermediate role that serves as a critical intermediary in trading for clients and acts as a strategic advisor. The role directly contributes to clients’ financial success by formulating investment strategies and raising capital.

• Mission: Act as a strategic advisor to our clients by formulating investment strategies and raising capital for clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaborate: Participate as a junior member of the Investment Banking team in particular client transaction projects and assignments.
• Analyze: Organize and analyze sophisticated financial data for use in client proposals and strategic plans.
• Prepare: Develop written recommendations, valuation materials, and statistical exhibits for pitches and live deals.
• Research: Conduct economic and financial research to inform strategic decisions.
• Model: Build complex financial models for valuation purposes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or University degree, or equivalent experience in a field relevant to institutional banking and investment advisory.
• Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, financial analysis, or advisory services.
• Skills: Possession of Series 79 and 63 licenses; demonstrated clear and concise written and verbal communication skills; ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment to meet deadlines.
