Investment Banking Intern Analyst NE:
This is an intermediate-level position within the Investment Banking team at Citi. The role focuses on assisting clients with:
• Raising funds in the capital markets: This involves helping clients issue bonds, stocks, or other securities to raise capital for expansion, acquisitions, or other purposes.
• Providing strategic advisory services: This encompasses advising clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, and other complex financial transactions.
• Acting as an intermediary in trading for clients: The analyst may facilitate trades for clients in the capital markets.
The overall objective of this position is to act as a strategic advisor to clients by formulating investment strategies and raising capital.
Responsibilities:
• Collect and analyze company information: Conduct industry research, revise and organize financial data to support client transactions.
• Analyze financial data and develop financial models: Build models for company valuations, discounted cash flow analysis, financing, and comparative analysis.
• Create and finalize new business development presentations: Prepare presentations to pitch new business opportunities to potential clients.
• Coordinate tasks with internal and external working teams: Work closely with colleagues within Citi and external parties to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare required internal documentation: Complete paperwork related to control and compliance regulations.
• Assess risk when making business decisions: Apply sound ethical judgment and comply with relevant laws and regulations to safeguard Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
Qualifications:
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.

Summer Analyst Program:
• The 10-week program starts in June and begins with a 1-week intensive training program.
• Summer Analysts are eligible for Citi’s mentorship program, providing further training and guidance.
• Top-performing Summer Analysts often return to Citi after graduation to work as Full-Time Analysts.
