Investment Advisory Billing Specialist | Osaic
The Tone:
This is a full-time, non-exempt role at Osaic, located in Atlanta, La Vista, Oakdale, Scottsdale, or St. Petersburg, requiring a minimum of 4 days weekly in the office. Osaic is a financial services organization that supports investment advisory accounts and financial advisors. This specialist ensures accurate and timely processing of all billing-related activities for investment advisory accounts, directly impacting financial integrity and client satisfaction.

• Mission: Ensure accurate calculation, review, and posting of advisory fees by processing billing-related activities and maintaining data integrity within advisory platforms.
• Tech Stack: Wealth Management Platform (WMP), NetX360, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Processing: Process billing-related requests for Investment Advisory accounts, including fee calculations, adjustments, and reconciliations.
• Accuracy & Timeliness: Execute tasks accurately and within established service level agreements (SLAs).
• Data Review: Review account data to ensure billing accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of completed work within systems and ticketing tools.
• Collaboration & Escalation: Partner with internal teams to resolve standard processing issues and escalate complex or non-routine issues as needed.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or a related field is preferred. Core knowledge in financial services, operations, billing, or accounting concepts is preferred.
• Experience: 0-1 year of experience in financial services, operations, billing, accounting, or a related field; internships or coursework are acceptable.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to follow documented procedures, strong organizational and time management skills, effective written and verbal communication, basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Bonus: 1+ years of investment advisory support experience, completion of the FINRA SIE exam, FINRA Series 7, experience with Envestnet / Wealth Management Platform.
