Job Description: Investment Advisor Representative Intern
Job Summary:
The Investment Advisor Representative Intern will gain valuable hands-on experience and contribute to various projects within our company, focusing on retirement plan advising. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals, conduct research, and assist in critical operational and client-facing tasks. You will develop practical skills and receive valuable learning experiences in a dynamic financial environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside experienced Investment Advisor Representatives to gain exposure to the sales and operational dynamics of retirement plan advising.
- Collaborate on preparing materials for client presentations under mentor guidance and review, ensuring accuracy and professional presentation.
- Participate in meetings with a participant education advisor to learn best practices for preparing and conducting effective client meetings.
- Assist in the preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), contributing to new business acquisition efforts.
- Attend biweekly check-in meetings with the Director or President to discuss progress, professional development, and receive constructive feedback.
- Facilitate a final evaluation session with the Director and President to reflect on internship experiences, outline future goals, and provide feedback to enhance the internship program for future participants.
Technical Skills:
- Strong project management skills, demonstrating the ability to organize and execute tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work on and complete multiple tasks effectively and under aggressive timeframes, showcasing strong time management.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, essential for internal collaboration and client-related tasks.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team to meet common goals, highlighting adaptability and teamwork.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, for data analysis, document creation, communication, and presentations.
Education/Experience:
- Incoming Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field (finance or business preferred), or equivalent education and experience.
Pay Details:
The base compensation range for this internship position is $20 per hour. This range reflects Acrisure’s good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.

Work Environment:
Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
