Internship – Real Estate & Economic Development

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

The City of Fort Worth is seeking interns to participate in an immersive eight-week program focused on commercial real estate management and economic development. Priority placement is provided to current Texas Christian University or Texas Tech University Real Estate Management degree or certificate program students.

The program will run from June 2nd through July 24th, 2026.

Program Details:

• Students actively enrolled in Texas Christian University or Texas Tech University Real Estate Management degree or certificate programs are given priority.
• Eight-week program duration.
• Up to 40 hours per week.
• $18.00 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current student, or recently graduated within the last 6 months of application, or working towards a specialization in a vocational field, or a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in a related field of study.
• No previous work experience is required.
• Candidates who do not meet the Education requirement may be considered if they have more relevant work experience than the position requires.
