Job Description: Internship Program
This internship program offers a fully immersive experience working on real-world projects for well-known companies. Interns will be integrated members of account teams, receiving coaching and mentorship to advance their career goals.
Responsibilities: The daily tasks involve a diverse range of activities, including:
• Creative Work: Crafting written communications (media materials, compelling social content).
• Research & Analysis: Analyzing brands using various resources.
• Idea Generation & Collaboration: Sharing ideas in brainstorming sessions and with teams.
• Planning & Logistics: Assisting in event coordination and logistics.
• Media Relations: Pitching stories to media, developing media lists, tracking placements.
• Brand Monitoring: Tracking brand performance in traditional and social media.
Required Skills & Qualities: Weber Shandwick seeks candidates who possess:
• Creative Thinking: Innovative and outside-the-box thinking.
• Digital Proficiency: Strong understanding of established and emerging social media platforms, and how brands utilize them effectively.
• Excellent Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and handle unexpected issues efficiently.
• Attention to Detail: A commitment to producing accurate and precise work.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Familiarity with Hootsuite, Cision, MuckRack, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
