Job Description: Internship Program

Position Summary:

B. Braun’s Internship Program offers college and university students (enrolled or recently graduated) a meaningful experience in the Life Sciences industry. Interns participate in a finite project within a specific department, gaining valuable corporate or operational learning experience. Project assignments vary depending on departmental needs, but all provide relevant and meaningful work. Internships are a minimum of ten to twelve weeks. Each intern receives a mentor for guidance, and a final presentation summarizing their experience is required.

Responsibilities:

• Completing a department-assigned project.
• Working with a mentor for guidance and support.
• Delivering a final presentation to the department.

Qualifications:

Required: Enrollment in a related Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program; MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, basic database management); excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desired: Completion of the junior year of a Bachelor’s program.

Physical Demands:

The job primarily involves sitting, talking, hearing, using hands to handle or feel, and reaching. Occasional standing, walking, and lifting/moving up to 20 pounds may be required.

Work Environment:

The work environment is typically moderate in noise level.

Compensation:

The target pay range is $21.50 – $29.50 per hour. This range is subject to various factors including skills, experience, training, licensure, and organizational needs. The provided range is an estimate and may vary based on individual circumstances and location.
