Position Summary: Internship Program

B. Braun’s Internship Program is meticulously designed to offer College and University enrolled students, or those who have recently graduated, a meaningful and impactful experience within the dynamic Life Sciences industry. This program provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable corporate or operations learning experience through participation in a finite project specifically tailored to the needs of each department.

While projects will vary based on departmental requirements, every assignment is crafted to provide the intern with both a meaningful and relevant work experience. Internships require a minimum ten to twelve week commitment. To ensure comprehensive support and guidance, a dedicated mentor will be assigned to each intern throughout their experience. A key component of the program includes interns conducting a presentation to their department outlining their internship experience.

Qualifications

Required:

• Must be enrolled in a related Bachelors or Masters Degree program (or recently graduated).
• Proficiency in MS Office skills, including Excel, Power point, Word, and simple database management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Desired:

• Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior year of a BS in a science-related field.
• Demonstrated qualities of being self-motivated, proactive, and determined.
• Good interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits

The targeted hourly compensation for this role ranges from $20.50 to $26.50. This range takes into account a variety of factors considered during compensation and hiring decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Please note that the disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the specific facts and circumstances of each case, and the provided range is a reasonable estimate.
