Internship Opportunities (Specific Roles):
Applicants may select up to three (3) internship options in their application:
• IDB – Donor Reporting & Impact Analysis Intern
• IDB – Generative AI & Innovation Research Intern
• IDB – Water Resources & Climate Data Analysis Intern
• IDB – HR Onboarding Program Intern
• IDB – HR & Employee Services Communications Intern
• IDB – Multimedia Communications & Digital Content Intern
Internship Details:
• Location: Washington, D.C.
• Modality: In Person
• Contract Type: Paid Intern Consultant
• Duration: 2 months – January 16, 2026 – March 15, 2026
• Hours: 40 hours per week
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for these internship opportunities, candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Nationality: Be a citizen of an IDB member country. (Note: IDB Invest positions have no nationality restrictions, but this general posting refers to IDB).
• Student Status: Be an active undergraduate student enrolled in a Bachelor’s program.
• Academic Progress: Have completed at least two years of studies at the time of application.
• Graduation Date: Have a graduation date that is after the internship period.
• Prior Employment: Not have previously worked at the IDB Group under any contractual modality.
• Work Authorization: Meet all work authorization requirements. For U.S.-based international students, CPT/OPT may apply. For students based outside the U.S., the IDB Group will support the request for a G4 visa.

• Resume: Must include your expected graduation date.
• Academic Transcript: An Official or Unofficial Academic transcript is required (an official transcript will be required if selected).
• Student Certificate: An Active student certificate or a university letter confirming your student status.
• Document Format: All documents must be saved in PDF format, using the naming convention: FirstName_LastName_DocumentType.pdf.
• Cover Letter: Cover letters are NOT required for this application.
