The Tone:
This is an internship at TransTech Group, located in Cleveland, OH, with hybrid options. TransTech Group provides custom-engineered and fabricated solutions for liquids and gas processing, storage, and transfer across diverse industries. They specialize in large-scale production of complex, high-quality equipment, adhering to rigorous quality and safety standards. This role is crucial for transforming centralized business data in Microsoft Fabric into useful reporting, insights, and scalable business solutions to support decision-making.

• Team: Reports to the Manager of Business Analysis and Process, collaborating with a Business Data Analyst.
• Mission: Help turn core business data into useful reporting, insights, and scalable business solutions within the Microsoft Fabric environment.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Platform, SharePoint, Excel, SQL, Python

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting Support: Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports for various business users and functions.
• Data Management: Work with curated data in Microsoft Fabric, assisting with organizing, validating, and documenting assets like semantic models and dataflows.
• Insights Generation: Conduct recurring and ad hoc analysis, identify data quality issues, and support business users to meet their reporting and analytical needs.
• Emerging Tech: Assist with business process improvement opportunities using Power Automate and support early AI use cases, including organizing source data and testing solutions.
• Project Contribution: Contribute to special projects related to digital transformation, enterprise reporting, and broader operational analytics initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Familiarity with Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools.
• Skills: Data Analysis, Process Improvement, Attention to Detail, Problem Solving.
• Bonus: Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, SharePoint, or related Microsoft technologies.
