Description: Internship at B. Riley Wealth Management
This internship is an on-the-job training opportunity for rising college seniors and seniors, providing fast-paced learning under the guidance of experienced leaders. The internship offers a chance to thrive in a collaborative and highly supportive environment. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
• Liaison Role: Acting as a point of contact between Tax and Financial Advisors and internal departments (Compliance and Finance).
• Administrative Tasks: Processing and distributing mail, preparing and scanning documents (including indexing to client accounts), maintaining branch file rooms, and preparing correspondence and management reports using software like Word and Excel.
• Data Entry: Inputting tax return information into the system.
• Client & Internal Communication: Interacting professionally with Tax and Financial Advisors, clients, and internal contacts.
• Other Duties: Performing other assigned tasks as needed.
Currently pursuings:
• Currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited college/university and actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Rising senior or senior status required.
• Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics major preferred.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Strong finance and accounting skills.
• Exceptional research, analytical, and quantitative reasoning skills.
• Self-starter with high initiative and motivation.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Superior interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
• Desire for a career in the tax and financial services industry.
