Job Description: Internship

Binary Defense seeks interns to contribute to the enhancement of their flagship product and next-generation platform. Interns will be integrated into a delivery team, tackling real-world challenges across planning, design, development, and testing. The company offers full-time summer internships, part-time semester options, and co-op programs. As a remote-friendly organization, they emphasize trust and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate effectively within a product-focused software delivery team using agile engineering and DevOps practices to deliver high-quality security products.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: defining, designing, estimating, planning, and executing user stories.
• Develop high-quality, well-tested code.
• Continuously improve individual and team performance, as well as the technology products and their delivery/support processes.
• Actively engage with a mentor and the team.
• Undertake other projects and responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

Requirements:

• US Citizenship and residence in the continental US.
• Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Junior or Senior status in a full-time degree program.
• Programming experience in one of the following languages: C#, Java, Python, Typescript, etc.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts verbally and in writing.
• Enthusiastic, curious, and highly collaborative nature.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior hands-on software development experience.
