About the Role
This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside industry professionals at MacLean-Fogg, contributing to real-world projects while learning about the ins and outs of manufacturing processes. The role will provide foundational skills in key areas such as:
• Engineering
• Supply Chain
• Operations
• Quality
• Lean
• Finance
• IT
• HR
What You’ll Do:
• Collaborate with various departments, including Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and more
• Create and refine standard work instructions for daily processes
• Input and manage data from technical documents
• Research, troubleshoot, and solve operational challenges
• Perform audits and report findings to improve processes
• Communicate with team members at all levels, including senior management
• Ensure compliance with 5S standards, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies
• Take on additional projects and tasks as needed to support the team
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least a 3.0 GPA
• Able to interpret and follow work instructions and written/verbal directions
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Basic problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
• Comfortable working with data and using mathematical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Demonstrates curiosity and initiative in seeking information or solving problems
• Commitment to meeting deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment
