Job Description: Internship Program
Nationwide Financial offers a 12-week internship program running from May to August, providing a hands-on learning experience for students pursuing a bachelor’s degree within 2-3 semesters of graduation.
Here’s what the program offers:
• High-impact, high-profile assignments: You’ll be involved in real-world projects and contribute meaningfully to Nationwide’s operations and business objectives.
• Professional development: Attend learning sessions led by key business leaders and network with other interns, team members, and alumni.
• Competitive compensation: You’ll receive a competitive hourly wage ranging from $21 to $50.
• Intern and team-building experiences: Engage in fun activities to build relationships with fellow interns and colleagues.
• Networking opportunities with leaders: Interact with and learn from senior-level executives across the company.
The program focuses on various roles:
• Project Management
• Operations
• Sales
Interns will have periodic company-paid travel visits to the Columbus, Ohio office throughout the 12-week program.
Qualifications:
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
• Understanding or interest in the financial services industry.
• Active participation and leadership in extracurricular activities.
• Strong teamwork and customer focus skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nationwide does not participate in the STEM OPT Extension program. Sponsorship for qualifying positions is based on business need and budget and is not usually available for entry-level roles.
