Degy Entertainment is offering an unpaid internship program designed primarily for college students. While the internship is unpaid, college credit may be available depending on your institution’s requirements. Program Structure

Interns will be assigned to one of our core departments based on areas of interest and business needs. Department assignments are finalized one week prior to the start date. This assigned department will be the primary source of day-to-day responsibilities, deadlines, and assignments.

Available Teams

• Marketing: Focuses on strategic, creative, and analytical marketing initiatives.
• Festivals and Fairs: Specializes in the booking and operational aspects of festivals and fairs.
• Roster Operations: Manages the logistics and support for our roster of talent.
• Degy Impact: Engages in social impact and community-focused projects.
• CPSE (Corporate, Private and Special Events) Booking and Sales: Handles booking and sales for corporate, private, and special events.
• Business Development: Dedicated to strategizing and executing special projects assigned by the CEO to develop new business lines.

Team Responsibilities in Detail

Booking & Sales Team

Interns on this team will be paired with a senior agent and their assistants, aligning with their areas of interest. Key responsibilities and learning opportunities include:

• Lead generation and market research to develop new sectors for Degy.
• Building brand awareness and enhancing customer service and sales skills.
• Gaining an in-depth understanding of entertainment booking, from roster acts to major talent.
• Learning the show process from conception to execution, covering Fairs and Festivals, CPSE, and other markets.

Marketing Team

This team offers a comprehensive experience in marketing strategies, creative branding, and analytics. Specific areas of focus include:

• Graphic Design
• Social Media Management
• Content Creation
• Website Optimization and SEO Strategies
• Google Analytics
• Overall Marketing & Advertising for Degy Entertainment and Degy’s Family of Companies.

Business Development

This dynamic team works directly on special projects assigned by the CEO, with an emphasis on developing new business lines from inception to conclusion. Interns will:

• Engage with various stakeholders and collaborate on projects such as Degy Concepts Operations & Logistics.
• Work on online ticketing solutions and promotional products business development.
• Gain hands-on experience in sales collateral concepts, concept creation, event logistics, and marketing.
• Manage Request for Proposal (RFP) processes.
• Support the creation of marketing materials and basic web design.

This team’s scope also includes Roster Operations, Degy Impact, and other Special Projects.

Requirements

This is a fully remote program, necessitating a reliable computer and internet connection.

• Confident, dynamic individual with a passion for music and entertainment, business, and/or technology.
• Must be dependable and able to meet strict deadlines.
• Should be willing to participate in virtual meetings and events.
• Be great with time management, punctual, and resourceful.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be customer service oriented and comfortable talking with potential or existing clients.
• Possess strong research, writing, and organizational skills.
