Job Description

Nationwide Financial is offering a 12-week internship program running from May to August, offering full-time hours (40 hours per week). This internship program is designed to provide valuable experience and professional development opportunities for students.

The internship program includes:

• A variety of roles: Opportunities in Project Management, Operations, and Sales.
• Periodic company-paid travel visits: Travel to the Columbus, Ohio office throughout the 12-week experience.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree: Must be within 2-3 semesters of graduation.
• Understanding or interest in the financial services industry: A strong interest in this field is crucial.
• Participation and leadership in extracurricular activities: Demonstrated leadership and involvement outside of academics.
• Academic excellence: A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
• Strong commitment to teamwork and customer focus: Must be a team player with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills: Clear and effective communication is essential.

Additional Notes:

• Nationwide does not participate in the Stem OPT Extension program.
• Sponsorship for qualifying positions is determined based on business need and budget.
• Applications are typically accepted until 10/19/2024, but early submissions are encouraged.
• The position can be filled within any of the lower 48 U.S. states.
• Salary range for Nationwide Internships is: $21 – $50 per hour.
