Job Description: Internship
Job Type: This is a Part-time, Paid Internship opportunity.
Location: The internship is based in SRS Real Estate Partners’ Atlanta office.
Overview:
This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain firsthand experience in the retail real estate industry. The intern will play a supportive role in various core functions, primarily focusing on market research and database management.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
• Performing market research and analysis to gather relevant industry data.
• Identifying potential clients, generating targeted lists, and conducting cold calling.
• Participating in creating presentations for clients or internal use.
• Assisting with maintaining company databases and files, ensuring accuracy and organization.
• Organizing and maintaining files and records efficiently.
• Performing special projects as needed to support team initiatives.
• Assisting prospects in accessing vacant space, providing initial support in property inquiries.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
• Education: A minimum of a third-year college student or a recent college graduate with a degree in Real Estate or Business.
• Learning Aptitude: A strong desire to learn and grow within the industry.
• Soft Skills: Possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Acrobat.
• Work Ethic: Be effective at multi-tasking and quickly prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced and professional work environment.

• Acquiring skills in Site Intelligence for Tenant Services.
• Learning how to apply Client parameters to find suitable solutions.
• Collaborating on projects to create effective Client Tours.
• Developing intimate knowledge of industry-standard software such as CoStar, GIS, and Google Earth.
• Familiarization with lease analysis tools.
• Building basic Real Estate knowledge.
• Developing a working knowledge of retail properties and clientele.
• Learning to perform market analysis for clients based on target audience/consumers.
• Understanding and practicing the technique of “Canvassing” in real estate.
