The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at UBS, located in Columbia. UBS is a leading and truly global wealth manager, and a universal bank in Switzerland, also providing diversified asset management solutions and focused investment banking capabilities across more than 50 markets. This role offers an opportunity to dive into a client-focused work environment, work with experts, and directly impact client projects, making you an integral part of the team. As an intern, you will gain valuable insight into the industry, develop new skills, and establish a network of mentors and business contacts that extend beyond a resume listing.

• Pay: $20 hourly
• Team: Working within a WMA branch office supporting wealth management experts and financial advisors.
• Mission: Support wealth management experts and contribute to client-impacting projects while gaining industry insight.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Impact: Work on projects that directly influence client outcomes.
• Team Support: Provide essential support to a team of wealth management experts.
• Industry Learning: Attend presentations by WMA leaders to understand the industry, culture, and strategy.
• Product Knowledge: Acquire product knowledge through internal and external partner sessions to assist the team.
• Marketing & Events: Plan team marketing events and develop related materials.
• Business Operations: Assist with the operational responsibilities inherent in an entrepreneurial business model.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Enrollment in a two or four-year college or university program, suited for an entry-level professional.
• Experience: Demonstrated solid academic performance and active campus involvement.
• Skills: Analytical thinking, decision-making, sound judgment, planning, organization, effective communication, and teamwork.
