Job Description:

SRA is seeking interns to contribute to its voice technology projects within the Galaxy Intelligence team. This team is responsible for building core technologies and systems that power Galaxy Intelligence, a next-generation virtual personal assistant.

The internship roles will focus on:

Advanced Research in Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR): This includes areas like Acoustic and Speech based Large Language Modeling (LLM), model compression, and personalization.
Wake-up Word Detection: Research and development in feature extraction, modeling, and personalization for wake-up word detection systems.
Voice Recognition, Language Recognition, and Speech Enhancement: Contributing to projects in these areas.
Building LLM-based Speech Applications: Developing and researching experiences with LLMs and model compression techniques.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Building LLM based speech applications and research experience with LLMs, model compression.
• Research in Automatic Speech Recognition, Acoustic and Language Modeling, and personalization, wakeword detection.
• Development experience on Android platform.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Currently pursuing MS or PhD in Computer Science or a related degree
• Knowledge of Deep/Machine Learning, LLM, Digital Signal Processing
• Proficiency in C, C++, JAVA/Android, PYTHON
• Experience with Tensorflow, Pytorch

Experience with Android is highly desirable.
