Job Description: Intern / Trainee (Tax Services):
This internship offers the opportunity to work within PwC’s tax practice, contributing to the team’s efforts in solving complex business issues. Interns will participate in various engagement phases, including:
• Tax Research and Analysis: Researching, analyzing, and applying tax laws, rules, and regulations. Drafting memorandums to support decisions and propose solutions.
• Project Support: Contributing to select projects, demonstrating creativity and initiative within a team environment.
• Collaboration and Feedback: Proactively seeking guidance and feedback from senior team members.
• Task Management: Demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing assigned tasks.
The role requires strong communication skills (written and verbal) in both Korean and English, and a demonstrated ability to research and analyze information. Experience with automation and digitization in a professional services environment is preferred, encompassing working with large datasets and data visualization tools. Interns will gain exposure to the PwC Professional framework, focusing on developing skills such as curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. The position is entry-level, typically for students in their 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate studies. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required, and preference is given to candidates who are working towards a CPA license or have met the educational requirements for one. The internship provides valuable experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, contributing directly to client service within the tax practice.
