Job Description: Intern / Trainee in External Audit Services

Role: As an Intern / Trainee, you’ll join a team of problem solvers, contributing to addressing complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Intern’s Role in Core Audit Services:
• Support specific phases of financial statement audits.

• Demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks while maintaining professional skepticism.

Job Requirements and Preferences:

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum Degree: Bachelor’s Degree
Required Field of Study: Accounting
Required GPA: 3.0
Minimum Experience: 0 years

Preferred Qualifications:

Educational Preferences: Typically, candidates are in their 3rd year of a 4-year program or 4th year of a 5-year program.
Internship Timing: Internships are typically during the winter/spring or summer prior to graduation.
Certifications Preferred: Before starting full-time, meet educational requirements for relevant licensing (e.g., 150 credit hours for CPA).

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

• Demonstrated interest in auditing and public accounting.
• Basic knowledge of financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, and financial reporting systems, including GAAP and current accounting policies.
• Ability to research and analyze relevant client, industry, and technical matters.
• Proven abilities in:
• Problem-solving and prioritizing tasks.
• Written and verbal communication with various levels of leadership.
• Self-motivation and personal development.

Salary Range: $30.75 – $40.75 (dependent on experience and location)
