Job Description: Intern / Trainee in External Audit Services:
As an intern or trainee, you’ll be part of a team tackling complex business challenges, from strategic planning to execution. The role involves supporting various phases of financial statement audits and participating in projects that demand creative thinking and initiative within a team setting. Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting Financial Statement Audits: Contributing to various stages of the audit process.
• Project Support: Participating in projects, demonstrating creative thinking, individual initiative, and teamwork, while building strong relationships with colleagues.
• Proactive Learning: Actively seeking guidance, clarification, and feedback.
• Task Prioritization: Demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks, while maintaining professional skepticism.

Job Requirements and Preferences:
• Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Prior experience is not required. Ideal candidates are typically in their 3rd year of a 4-year program or 4th year of a 5-year program, interning during winter/spring or summer before graduation.
• Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated interest in auditing and a desire for a public accounting career; basic understanding of financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, and financial reporting systems (including GAAP); ability to research and analyze client, industry, and technical matters; problem-solving skills; effective communication (written and verbal); ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; self-motivation; and commitment to personal growth. Before starting full-time, meeting all educational requirements for a relevant professional credential (e.g., CPA license) is preferred.
