Intern | RÖDL USA

The Tone:
This is an internship at RÖDL USA, located in multiple US cities including Atlanta, GA. RÖDL USA is a professional services firm specializing in accounting, auditing, tax, and business consulting for foreign-owned midsized businesses, primarily German-speaking and European family companies. This role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience and insights into international auditing, accounting, and tax consulting within a truly global and intercultural workplace.

• Pay: $20–$32 hourly (exact compensation varies by skills, experience, and location, specifically for Chicago, Denver, and Manhattan metropolitan areas)
• Mission: Gain practical experience in international accounting, auditing, and tax projects for foreign-owned US subsidiaries.
• Tech Stack: ProSystems Engagement, Microsoft Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide assistance on accounting, auditing, and tax projects for international clients.
• Experience: Collect practical experience in all areas of US-American and German auditing and tax consulting.
• Train: Participate in training sessions covering ProSystems Engagement, Microsoft Excel, preparation of bank reconciliations, cash audit, and tax estimates.
• Collaborate: Work within a high-performing and interdisciplinary team on challenging tasks.
• Contribute: Engage in activities within an international business environment.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level role requiring at least three semesters of economics studies with a focus on international accounting, auditing, and/or taxes.
• Experience: Possess initial theoretical and/or practical experience in accounting and/or taxes. A minimum 6-month commitment is required for this program.
• Skills: Demonstrate fluent German and English language proficiency in both spoken and written forms, coupled with strong analytical abilities, self-initiative, high quality awareness, and enjoyment of teamwork.
• Bonus: Prior internships abroad and additional qualifications are considered advantageous.
