Job Description: Intern/Trainee in External Audit Services

Opportunity: This entry-level position offers the chance to gain experience in providing assurance services and business advice to a diverse range of clients, from small startups to large international corporations.

Responsibilities:

• Support select phases of a financial statement audit: This includes assisting with data analysis, testing procedures, and documentation.
• Support select projects: This could involve research, analysis, and other tasks related to specific client engagements.
• Demonstrate creative thinking and individual initiative: Work as part of a team, build relationships, and proactively seek guidance and feedback.
• Prioritize and complete tasks while exercising professional skepticism: This requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to critically evaluate information.

Qualifications:

• Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• No prior work experience required
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, and financial reporting systems
• Demonstrated interest in auditing and a desire for a career in public accounting
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and effective communication skills
• Self-motivated and committed to personal growth and development.
