Job Description:

Technology Consulting Internship / Trainee

This is an entry-level position for individuals who are either in their third year of a four-year degree program or in the fourth year of a five-year program. The internship typically takes place during the winter/spring or summer prior to graduation.

Responsibilities:

As an Intern / Trainee, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting research, analysis, and problem-solving using various tools and techniques.
• Producing high-quality work that adheres to professional standards.
• Keeping up-to-date with technical developments in your area of specialization.
• Handling, manipulating, and analyzing data and information responsibly.
• Communicating confidently and clearly, both verbally and in written materials.
• Embracing different viewpoints and welcoming opposing ideas.
• Upholding PwC’s code of ethics and business conduct.

Qualifications:

Minimum: Bachelor’s degree, 0 years of experience.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Engineering).
Preferred GPA: 3.3 overall and in major.
Skills:
• An interest in Technology Consulting and a desire to pursue a career in consulting.
• Strong teamwork skills, including building solid relationships, communicating effectively, and contributing to a positive work environment.
• Research and analysis skills, including experience with quantitative and qualitative analyses, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• A basic understanding of Technology consulting and one or more of the following:
• Programming languages (Access, C, C++, Java, JavaScript, .NET, PERL, PHP, PL/SQL, Python, R, Ruby, SAS, SQL, HTML, XML)
• Relational database systems (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, DB2)
• Server operating systems (Windows Servers, Linux, Unix)
• Networking technologies (cloud computing, firewalls, TCP/IP, network security)
• Application design principles, web portals, packaged web applications
• NoSQL, Apache Hadoop, other database management systems
• Digital and mobile application design and development
• Demonstrated ability to summarize complex subjects for reporting purposes.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel, as client assignments require.
