Job Description:

This is an Intern / Trainee position within PwC’s Corporate Tax services. As an intern, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to address complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in select phases of tax compliance engagements.
• Research tax laws, rules, and regulations, analyzing their application to specific situations.
• Demonstrate creative thinking and individual initiative while working as a team member, building solid relationships.
• Proactively seek guidance, clarification, and feedback.
• Demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks while exercising professional skepticism.

Key Skills:

• Demonstrates basic abilities in researching and analyzing tax laws, rules, and regulations, along with understanding client, industry, and technical matters.
• Possesses strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with various levels of client and firm management.
• Demonstrates self-motivation and a desire to take responsibility for personal growth and career development.
• Possesses a desire to pursue a career in Tax.
• Experience researching business and industry trends to develop a point of view for assisting with proposals is preferred.
• Exposure to automation & digitization in a professional services environment is a plus.

Additional Information:

• This is an entry-level position typically filled by students in their 3rd or 4th year of a 4-year or 5-year degree program, respectively.
• Interns typically join during the winter/spring or summer before graduation.
• Meeting all educational requirements for the CPA license in the state where the office is located is preferred.
• The salary range for this position is $28.00 – $44.75, dependent on experience, qualifications, and location.
