Job Description: Corporate Tax Intern/Trainee

This entry-level position offers an opportunity to join a team of problem solvers who assist clients with complex business issues. As an intern, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals, gaining practical experience and developing essential skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in select phases of tax compliance engagements.
• Research tax laws, rules/regulations, and analyze their application to specific situations.
• Demonstrate creative thinking and individual initiative while working as a team member, fostering strong relationships.
• Proactively seek guidance, clarification, and feedback.
• Demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks while exercising professional skepticism.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Prior client service internship experience is preferred.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• A desire to pursue a career in Tax.
• Experience researching business and industry trends to develop informed viewpoints.
• Exposure to automation and digitization in a professional services environment.
• Ability to innovate through new and existing technologies, experiment with digitization solutions, and work with large, complex data sets.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range: $28.00 – $44.75 (dependent on experience and location)
• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, holiday pay, vacation, and more.
