Job Description:

PwC is looking for Interns/Trainees to join their External Audit team. These entry-level positions provide an opportunity to:

Gain experience in Assurance services and business advice: You’ll be involved in providing assurance services and offering business advice to a diverse range of clients.
Become part of a problem-solving team: You’ll collaborate with experienced professionals to solve complex business issues, from strategic planning to execution.
Develop valuable skills: The PwC Professional framework emphasizes key skills like curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication.
Contribute to core audit services: You will play a role in supporting select phases of financial statement audits, contributing to projects, and demonstrating initiative and teamwork.
Build relationships and receive mentorship: You will work alongside experienced team members, building relationships while receiving guidance and feedback.
Prioritize tasks and exercise professional skepticism: You will develop your ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain professional skepticism.

To qualify for this internship, you will need:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Demonstrated interest in auditing and a desire to pursue a career in public accounting.
• Basic knowledge of financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, and financial reporting systems.
• Some experience with research and analysis.
• Proven problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize, and strong communication abilities.

Preferred qualifications:

• Be in your 3rd or 4th year of a 4 or 5-year degree program.
• Meet all educational requirements to be eligible for the CPA license in the state where you will be located.
• Demonstrate an understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and current accounting policies and procedures.
• Have experience in interacting with various levels of leadership.
• Be self-motivated and committed to personal growth.
