Job Description: Intern / Trainee – External Audit Services
As an Intern/Trainee at PwC, you’ll be part of a team dedicated to solving complex business issues, from strategy development to execution. Your role will involve supporting various phases of financial statement audits and specific projects, while demonstrating creative thinking and initiative. You’ll foster strong relationships with team members, proactively seek guidance, and prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining professional skepticism.

• Supporting Financial Statement Audits: Assist in select phases of financial statement audits.
• Contributing to Projects: Provide support to specific projects.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Experience: Entry-level position typically suited for students in their third year of a four-year program or their fourth year of a five-year program.
• Certifications: Preferred to meet educational requirements for a CPA license before joining full-time.
• Knowledge/Skills: Demonstrates an interest in auditing and a desire for a career in public accounting. Has basic knowledge of financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, and financial reporting systems. Demonstrates an ability to research and analyze relevant client, industry, and technical matters. Possesses problem-solving skills, the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, strong written and verbal communication skills, and self-motivation.
This internship program typically takes place during the winter/spring or summer months, prior to the intern’s intended graduation year.
