Job Description: Intern / Trainee
As an Intern / Trainee in PwC’s Tax Services team, you’ll join a team of problem solvers working on complex business issues. Your responsibilities will include:

Preferred Qualifications:
• Preferred Fields of Study: Taxation, Accounting
• Preferred Cumulative GPA: 3.0
• Certification(s) Preferred: Eligibility for primary credential license appropriate for relevant practice area
• Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
• Demonstrated ability in researching and analyzing tax laws, rules, regulations, and client matters
• Proven record of interacting with various levels of client and firm management
• Self-motivation and desire for personal and career development
• Technical understanding of tax compliance services, including planning, strategy, and execution, with general knowledge of federal and state tax laws
• Ability to research business and industry trends to develop perspectives for assisting with proposals
• Understanding of automation and digitization in a professional services environment
• Experience innovating through new and existing technologies and experimenting with digitization solutions
• Ability to work with large datasets, build models, and leverage data visualization tools
Job Opportunities within PwC’s Tax Services:
• SALT (State and Local Tax): Provides consulting across a broad spectrum of tax areas, including asset management, income/franchise tax planning, dispute resolution, sales and use tax, employment taxes, credit and incentive identification, and abandoned property.
• Real Estate: Advises clients on federal, local, and overseas tax affairs related to real estate deals and transactions (mergers, acquisitions, investments, conversions, reorganizations, dispositions, joint ventures, fund formation, etc.).
• ITS (International Tax Services): Helps clients address cross-border tax needs locally and globally by managing global tax rates, finding cost reduction opportunities, and responding to regulatory inquiries.
• M&A (Merger and Acquisition): Assists clients with various aspects of merger and acquisition transactions, including restructuring, divestiture, partnerships, and insolvency.
This position offers:
• A competitive salary range of $28.00 – $44.75
