Intern/Trainee Role in PwC’s Corporate Tax Practice

As an Intern/Trainee, you will work alongside experienced professionals within PwC’s Corporate Tax team, gaining valuable hands-on experience. Your responsibilities will include:

Tax Compliance: Participating in select phases of tax compliance engagements.
Research & Analysis: Researching tax laws, rules/regulations, and analyzing their application to specific situations.
Teamwork & Communication: Demonstrating creative thinking and initiative while working as a team member, building relationships with team members, seeking guidance, providing feedback, and communicating clearly and concisely.
Prioritization & Skepticism: Demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks while maintaining professional skepticism.

Internship Requirements and Preferences

Basic Currently pursuings:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Minimum GPA: 3.0
• Client service intern positions are generally for students in their 3rd or 4th year of their degree program.

Preferred Currently pursuings:

Education: Client service interns typically join during the winter/spring or summer prior to graduation.
Certification: Meet educational requirements for the CPA license (150 credit hours) in the state where the office is located.
Knowledge & Skills: Demonstrate abilities in researching and analyzing tax laws, rules/regulations, interacting with clients and firm management, and displaying self-motivation and a desire for professional growth. Possess a strong interest in pursuing a career in Tax. Have experience researching business and industry trends to develop points of view for proposals. Exposure to automation & digitization in a professional services environment.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $28.00 – $44.75 per hour.
