Job Description: Intern/Trainee in External Audit Services

Role: As an Intern/Trainee, you’ll be part of a team focused on solving complex business challenges, from strategy to execution.

Responsibilities:

Support select phases of financial statement audits.
Support select projects, showcasing creative thinking, individual initiative, and teamwork skills.
Build strong relationships with team members.
Proactively seek guidance, clarification, and feedback.
Demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks while exercising professional skepticism.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional Educational Preferences: Client service intern positions are typically filled by students in their 3rd year of a 4-year program or their 4th year of a 5-year program. Internships are generally during the winter/spring or summer before graduation.
Certification(s) Preferred: Before starting full-time at PwC, meet all educational requirements for the primary credential license relevant to your practice area (e.g., meeting the 150 credit hour requirement for the CPA license in your office’s location).
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
• Demonstrated interest in auditing and a desire for a public accounting career.
• Basic knowledge of financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, and financial reporting systems, including generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and current accounting policies and procedures.
• Ability to research and analyze relevant client, industry, and technical matters.
• Proven experience in:
• Utilizing problem-solving skills.
• Prioritizing and managing multiple tasks.
• Interacting with various levels of leadership (client and/or team-based) in written and verbal form.
• Self-motivation and taking responsibility for personal growth and development.

• The salary range for this position is $30.75 – $40.75, depending on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable laws.
