Intern/Trainee Role in PwC’s Core Tax Practice
As an intern, you will be a part of a team solving complex business issues. Your responsibilities will include:
• Participating in tax compliance engagements: You’ll be involved in various phases of these engagements.
• Researching tax laws and regulations: You’ll analyze the application of tax laws and regulations to specific situations.

Job Requirements and Preferences
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree: Required in Accounting.
• GPA: Minimum 3.0.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Client service intern positions: Typically filled by students in their 3rd or 4th year of a degree program.
• Internship Timing: Typically during the winter/spring or summer before graduation.
• Certifications: Before starting full-time, you need to meet all educational requirements for a relevant credential license (like the CPA) in the state where your office is located.
• Knowledge/Skills:
• Demonstrated success in researching and analyzing tax laws, rules, regulations, client information, industry data, and technical matters.
• Experience interacting with clients and firm management through written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivation and a desire for personal and professional growth.
• Passion for a career in tax.
• Experience researching business and industry trends to develop a point of view for proposals.
• Exposure to automation and digitization in a professional services environment, including:
• Researching and analyzing tax data.
• Interacting with various stakeholders.
• Demonstrating self-motivation and a drive for personal growth.
• Innovating with new and existing technologies.
• Working with large data sets and using data visualization tools.
Additional Information:
• Salary Range: $28.00 – $44.75 per hour, depending on experience and location.
