Job Description:
Partnership Allocation and Reporting Solutions Technology Internship/Trainee
This internship/trainee role within PwC’s Tax services provides the opportunity to help clients meet and manage their tax obligations across diverse and evolving tax specialties. You will gain experience advising clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Assisting clients with tax reporting for large or complex partnership structures.
• Working as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.
• Leveraging subject matter expertise in various custom applications to deliver value to clients.
• Contributing to the team’s three core functional areas: tax team, client team, and technology team.
• Adhering to the PwC Professional framework, a global leadership development program that outlines the skills needed for success.
Qualifications:
• Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, Computer Programming, or Computer Systems Analysis.
• Preferred Qualifications: Client service intern positions are entry-level and job seekers are typically in their 3rd or 4th year of their degree program.
• Preferred Skills: Demonstrated understanding of advanced programming concepts, object-oriented design patterns, data structures, and algorithms. Experience with technologies like MS SQL Server, Visual Basic.Net, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, HTML, Visual Studio .NET, MS Teamsystem, and Software Development Lifecycle methodologies. Strong communication skills, client-service orientation, and experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $28.00 – $44.75 per hour. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
