• Mission: To assist in servicing high net worth individuals with various tax returns and to develop foundational knowledge of tax planning and compliance through practical client work.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, specialized tax planning and preparation software (willingness to learn).

What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Preparation: Assist with the preparation of tax returns, income tax projects, estimated tax vouchers, extension forms, and supporting work papers.
• Record Management: Organize and maintain client tax files and electronic records, while providing administrative and task compliance support for client service needs.
• Document Review: Prepare supporting schedules, reconcile client information, and review tax documents for completeness and accuracy prior to preparation and filing.
• Professional Development: Participate in training sessions, associate meetings, and professional development opportunities to build technical tax knowledge.
• Tax Research: Conduct basic tax research and assist with gathering information related to inquiries from taxing authorities and changes in tax laws and regulations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with an expected graduation date within 24 months of the internship start, at an Entry-Level career stage.
• Experience: Demonstrated leadership experience through work or extracurricular activities.
• Skills: Strong aptitude for numbers and detailed calculations, basic knowledge of accounting or tax principles, strong organizational and time management skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Bonus: Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
