About the Job: Intern, Talent Solutions
POSITION TITLE: Intern, Talent Solutions
OFFICE: Atlanta, GA
REPORTS TO: Site Director
This Intern, Talent Solutions role is designed for an eager individual looking to learn multiple skills across Career Development & Talent Solutions functionalities. The ideal candidate will be receptive, excited to learn, good-natured, and willing to collaborate with the team.
Requirements:
• Studying a degree related to Business Marketing or Business Management is preferred.
• A receptive attitude towards business-related intern duties, working hours, and internal databases.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong understanding and commitment to maintaining CONFIDENTIALITY/PRIVACY of Learner files and adhering to PS-Atlanta local work environment/guidelines.
Professional Development Responsibilities:
• Post Career Development workshops on learner-accessed platforms (Hubspot, Discord, Slack channels).
• At the start of each cohort, email the VITAL STATS Google Docs form to capture Learner information for employer partner engagement and job placement.
• Collaborate with the Talent Solutions team to help schedule and follow up on Mock Interviews with Employers/Employer Partners, ensuring all necessary information is provided.
• Conduct monthly follow-ups with each Graduate to identify employment status and/or schedule them for a ‘Group Alum’ workshop/Lunch with Alumni Team.
• RECORD ATTENDANCE in the Canvas database and report any attendance incidences to senior management.
• Assist as a Co-host with any/all PD events/workshops, employing a hands-on approach.
• UPLOAD RESUMES and ICPs to Salesforce within one week after cohort graduation.
• Set up new LEARNER digital and hard copy files (Original resume, Final Resume, and ICP for Business Solutions use).
• Suggest and record/document Process improvements to existing workflows.
• Maintain a well-organized and efficient digital storage system for LEARNER files.
Talent Solutions Responsibilities:
• Organize and lead employer networking events, informational sessions, and industry panels to connect graduates with hiring companies.
• Coordinate employer site visits and job shadowing opportunities to enhance graduates’ understanding of industry expectations.
• Leverage labor market trends and employer insights to refine job placement strategies and expand employer networks.
• Demonstrate experience in meeting and exceeding business development goals to ensure job attainment quotas are met.
• Monitor and manage student outcome and placement data in the Per Scholas Salesforce database, as well as up-and-out metrics for internal and client reporting.
Compensation:
This role offers no financial compensation, however, it can be used for school credits.
